The sportswear giant, Nike, is still standing by Maria Sharapova after putting on hold their relationship with her due to the fact that she was suspended for using a banned drug. According to CNN, Nike said it found out that the tennis star did not intentionally break the rules of the International Tennis Federation. Sharapova stated using a medication that contains Meldonium about a decade ago, and was said not to be aware the drug was added to the list of banned drugs in January. Sharapova received a two year suspension from International Tennis Federation on Wednesday and has apologized for using the drug. She is currently appealing for the length of the ban to be reduced.
