15 die in Lagos-Ibadan expressway crash


 A multiple fatal auto crash on Lagos-Ibadan express way had claimed the lives of 15 passengers. According to The Nation news, three vehicles; a truck, fuel tanker and a commercial bus were involved in the fatal accident. The accident occurred when the driver of the tanker filled with fuel wanted to overtake a truck, swerved off and ran into an on-coming commercial bus killing 14 passengers and the driver on the spot. The Sector Commander of Ogun State FRSC, Adetunji Adegoke in an sms sent to The Nation confirmed the accident and said that the 15 dead people had been taken to FOS Mortuary, Ipari near Sagamu while one passenger who sustained injuries was taken to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital Sagamu.
