Prof. Ayade- Cross River seaport commences in three months time

On Thursday, the Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade stated that the construction of  a deep seaport in the state would start in about three or four months time. According to Punch, Prof. Ayade revealed this to the State House Correspondents after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential villa, Abuja. The governor noted that the preliminary and detailed designs were already completed, and further said that the Transport Minister Mr Rotimi Amechi would inaugurate the steering committee. Prof. Ayade also commented on how the proposed seaport would provide about 30,000 job employment for the people of the state.
