Alleged N32bn fraud: FG fails to bring Dasukti to court

On Tuesday, Justice Hussein Baba Yusuf of an Abuja High Court located at Maitama, suspended the trial of former National Security Adviser, Col.Sambo Dasuki (retd) till 23rd of May. The adjournment was as a result of the Federal Government's inability to produce Col. Dasuki in court. This inability of the Federal Government to produce Dasuki in court has become a repeated occurrence since Feb 8 , when the court ordered for a full hearing of his case. According to Vanguard news, Mr Oluwaleke Atolagbe, an EFCC lawyer told the court yesterday after they resumed sitting of how he made conscious effort in contacting the Department of Security Services to release Dasuki from their custody for court trial. He further lamented of how his effort was proved abortive thereby making  the defendant not to appear in court.
