U.S to give Nigeria technical assistance to solve fuel scarcity

On Thursday, the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Ms Samantha Power, has promised that US embassy in Nigeria is ready to offer the country all the technical assistance it can in order to solve its lingering fuel crisis. Premium Times reports that this revelation was made known during Ms Power's visit to the office of the minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama. Ms Power stated that she saw long lines of motorists at the petrol stations and that she actually feels for the citizens who are going through tough time. According to Ms Power, the citizens are suffering the hardship because of the drop in oil prices and promised that US is ready to discuss with Nigeria so that it would diversify its economy.
