ICPC confiscates 61 houses from a female public servant

Mr Ekpo Nta, the Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission,  has revealed that a total of 61 houses belonging to a female public servant have been confiscated. Mr Nta made this known at the head office of  National Institute for Policy and  Strategic Studies in Abuja on Friday. According to Punch news, the agency said that it has started arresting public officials who are living beyond their means and  also would soon publish a list containing the names of the most corrupt Ministries, Departments and Agencies. Mr Nta further stated that once the 2016 budget is passed, the agency would start monitoring how money is being spent. Also, that a scorecard has been developed for the Ministries, Departments and Agencies and the first prize would go to the best among them.
