Buhari- I wont sign 2016 budget until critically scrutinized

President Muhamadu Buhari on Thursday in Washington D.C during the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit stated that he would not sign the 2016 appropriation bill passed into law by the National Assembly until he has scrutinized it critically . President Buhari said that he would scrutinize the budget ministry by ministry in order to make sure that what is in the budget is what was presented originally. According to Punch, he said that some ministries have removed what was proposed originally and put what they wanted. President Buhari further stated that he would take his time to scrutinize the budget sent to him before appending his signature on it to make sure that what was brought back to him for signing tallies with what was in the original budget and not some form of padded budget
