Mexico to start exporting banana from Cross Rivers

Arrangement between the Cross River State Foreign Direct Investment and some investors from Mexico have been sealed for exportation of banana from the state. About 2000 hectares of land has been provided by the State Government for this particular purpose. Prof. Ben Ayade, the State Governor said that his government would soon be a net exporter of banana. He further stated that banana production and export would help his administration in achieving his objective in economic diversification and reconstruction of the state economy
