Diezani- NNPC GMDs lied against me over Oil swap deal

Mrs Diezani Alison Madueke, the former Minister for Petroleum Resources, has said that the allegations leveled against her by her former group managing directors, Mr Austen Oniwon and Mr. Andrew Yakubu, of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, concerning her extension of Oil Swap deal without contracts as a big lie. Both former GMDs of NNPC, claimed before the legislators last week that she signed the extension of Oil swap deal for Duke oil and Trafigura without contracts. She said that she never approved the sum of $24bn for an extension of any Oil swap deal or Crude Oil/Refined Products Exchange Agreement without contracts. Also, she condemned the way and manner in which some newspapers and online reports stated that she signed the 'extension' instead of 'Approval for the renewal of the contracts' for the Oil swap arrangement with Duke Oil and Trafigura.
