PDP bewails arrest of its members

The Peoples Democratic Party bewailed the manner in which the Federal Government is humiliating, intimidating and arresting its leaders. The party's National Legal Adviser, Mr Victor Kwom, on Tuesday, condemned the action of  EFCC which arrested the party's Deputy National Chairman, Mr Uche Secondus. He further brought to the notice of the general public, the Federal Government's plan to arrest and detain the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio and some other leaders of the party for charges that do not exist. According to Kwom, he said that it is now obvious that the APC led government is not out to fight corruption, rather it is out to humiliate and silence PDP members.
