A female driver kills eight in Lagos

Eight people were killed and several others injured on Ilaje road, Bariga area of Lagos State on Saturday around 9 pm. A female motorist who picked her car near Majok filling station where her driver parked the car was said to have driven the car and suddenly moved forward and climbed the pedestrians thereby killing four people on the spot. Nine people who were injured were taken to the Gbagada General Hospital for treatment where two later died. More corpse were discovered the following day in the drainage system.  The information gathered by Punch metro has it that the said female motorist was to have her birthday the following day being Sunday and was going home for the event preparations when the incident occurred. The angry youths around descended on the suspect and she is currently at the hospital  receiving treatment.
