Two trains crashed on Tuesday on a remote single track line north of Bari,Italy. The head on collision happened at 11:30 local time (09:30 GMT) as the trains traveled between the towns of Bari and Barletta in the Southern region of Apulia. About 27 passengers were killed in the head on collision while others were in critical conditions. Dozens of rescue workers were on the crash site looking for the train wreckage. The black boxes of one of the trains has been recovered. The Italy Prime Minister, Matteo Renzi was at the scene of the crash on Tuesday and promised a full investigation to the cause of the crash. According to BBC, Renzi described the death toll as unacceptable.
