Dry cleaner charged to court in Lagos for allegedly stealing friend's motorbike

On Wednesday, a 25 year old dry cleaner, Usman Dala was arraigned before an Ikeja magistrate court for stealing his friend's motorcycle that worth N125,000. Mr Dala who lives at No 18 Sanusi Safura street, Obalende on Lagos Island is facing a two count charge of breach of peace and stealing. According to NAN, the incident was reported to have happened on May 25th at about 2:30am at ABM quarters off  Iju Road Agege, where the accused visited his friend. The prosecutor Sgt Raphael Donny said the offences contravened section 166 and 285 (10) of the Criminal Law in Lagos State, 2011. While the accused pleaded not guilty to the offences, the Magistrate, Mr A.J Adegun granted him bail to the tune of N50,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till 10th of June for trial.
