NigComSat will improve the economy if patronized- MD

Mrs Abimbola Alale, the Managing Director of Nigeria Communications Satellite Limited known as NigComSat, has made it known that the Federal Government's support to the company will improve and increase the country's economy. According to Punch, Mrs Alale also said that patronage from local and international organization would boost the company's ability towards provision of broadband links to those who could not be reached with fiber cables. Additionally, she proposed the use of the NigComSat-1R facilities towards perfecting and improving the country's e-voting system before the 2019 elections, and therefore called for collaboration between the NigComSat and the Independent National Electoral Commission. In her statement , she commended the company's effort and said that NigComSat1-R was built in 20111 from the proceeds of what NigComSat1 had without additional cost to the federal government.
