Two feared dead as UNIPORT students protest

Two students of the University of Port Harcourt have been reported dead during the students' protest against school authority's policy of  "No school fees, no examination". These students met their untimely death when bullets from the police who were called to disperse the protesting students off the East-West road hit them. Punch correspondent gathered from sources that one of the students, Peter Ofurun was said to have died instantly after he was hit by a police bullet, while a female student who was hit by a police bullet died on the way as she was being rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, Mr Ahmad Muhammad, the Police Public Officer, told Punch correspondent that there was no loss of life during the protest. In Mr Muhammad's words and i quote,  "No reported case of loss of life throughout the students' protest. What the police did was just the discharge of their mandate of restoring normalcy and orderliness in the University," Muhammad said
