NLC, ASUU threaten Dangote over his planned investment in Morocco
Nigerian Labour Congress, Academic Staff Union of Universities and over 50 civil rights organizations had on Saturday called on Alhaji Aliko Danogte to halt his investment plan in Morocco. Their agitation sprang forth after they heard that Dangote was close to signing a multi billion naira deal with a Moroccan company. They are kicking against the continued occupation of Saharawai Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) by Morocco. They are protesting with other civil rights organisations and are calling on Dangote to cancel any investment plan he has with the Moroccan company that would supply phosphate to run a fertilizer plant. According to them, they want liberation of the SADR from the Moroccans.
