A new date for Saraki's trial

The Code of Conduct Tribunal has rescheduled the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki's trial to be on March 11, 2016. Dr Saraki is being tried for 13 counts charges for false assets declaration. This latest development came as a result of the Saraki's new lead counsel, Chief Kanu Agabi (SAN), who requested for March 11 as against the former date of March 10. He requested for a new date because of his tight schedule and other urgent matters that need his attention on the March 10.
