Tompolo to Appeal court remove arrest warrant

The Niger Delta former militant leader, Chief Goverment Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, has requested that Appeal court sitting in Lagos should remove arrest warrant that has been issued against him by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos. EFCC filed a money laundering and stealing charge of about 34 billion naira belonging to Nigerian Maritime Association and Safety Agency against Tompolo and nine others. And because of the filed charge, on Jan 14 2016, Justice Ibrahim Buba of  Federal  High Court in Lagos issued a warrant arrest for them. Tompolo has on January 27 2016 filed an application before the court asking that they remove the warrant arrest issued against him. He further complained that EFCC did not send warrant of arrest to the correct address and did not affix its seal on the warrant of arrest also.
