A pregnant woman passes on aboard Arik Air

A 39 year old pregnant woman known as Mrs Ijeoma Akaegbu was pronounced dead on arrival in Lagos. The deceased was said to have boarded 11 am flight on Friday from Port Harcourt to Lagos with Arik Air flight 749. The deceased developed complications on air and was attended to by medical personnel on board the flight. Mr Adebanji Ola, Public Relations Communication Manager of Arik Air stated that the lady was confirmed dead on arrival in Lagos by medical personnel at the Murtala Muhammd Airport Domestic Terminal 1. The incident has been verified by the Lagos Airport Police Command and  the cause of her death is yet to be confirmed.
