It is remaining 4 days to the February 19th ultimatum date given by the Federal High Court in Lagos to the security agencies for them to present the erstwhile Ijaw militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, aka, Tompolo. before the court and no one knows his whereabouts. His Gbaramatu Ijaw people of Warri South West Local Government in Delta State are not ready to disclose his whereabouts because he is son of the soil and so dear to them. An anonymous royal father said and i quote
"No Gbaramatu man will reveal the hideout of Tompolo to any security man even if he knows, unless that person does not have a true Ijaw blood flowing in him. "Tompolo is an institution, not only in Ijawland, but in the whole of Niger Delta. He has touched many lives and currently is the symbol of the struggle. Therefore, it is not easy for any full-blooded Ijaw man to betray him. From what i can see, the whole thing is about business transaction, the Federal Government should settle the matter and let peace reign"
