The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex(OAUTHC) authority has confirmed that Lassa fever was the cause of death of a resident doctor from its institution. The resident doctor died on Monday as a result of the infectious disease. Prof. Adedeji Onayade, the chairman committee set up by OAUTHC made this known on Wednesday while speaking to a punch correspondent on a telephone conversation in Osogbo. Onayade said the result of the test carried out on the sample of the deceased showed that by testing positive.
