Lupita Nyong'o sad about the 2016 Oscar Nominees

Lupita Nyong'o has made her feelings known concerning the 2016 Oscar nominees. she disclosed her disappointments and concurred with her other colleagues who have complained about the nominees, people like George Clooney, Idris Elba, Whoopi Goldberg, Spike Lee, David Oyelowo and Jada Pinket Smith. She made feelings known while on her Instagram page and it goes thus: "I am disappointed by the lack of inclusion in this years's Academy Awards nominations. It has me thinking about unconscious prejudice and what merits prestige in our culture. The Awards should not dictate the terms of art in our modern society, but rather be a diverse reflection of the best of what our art has to offer today," She wrote. "I stand with my peers who are calling for change in expanding the stories that are told and recognition of the people who tell them."
she concluded her statement by quoting an author James Baldwin and it says: "Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced"
