Gulak, Jonathan's former Aid, proclaims self as PDP chairman

Alhaji Ahmed Gulak, the former Special Adviser to ex -president Goodluck Jonathan on political matters, has proclaimed himself as the PDP's party chairman. This proclamation was made on Wednesday inside the National Working Committee hall at the PDP national secretariat Abuja.Gulak said his decision came as a result of the court's order of December 16, 2015 which allowed a party member from the the North -East to replace the former chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu'azu. He further chid the acting chairman, Mr Uche Secondus for not obeying the court order in allowing the new party chairman to be appointed from the North- East zone.The National Working Committee through its National Legal Adviser, Mr Victor Kwon, said the party does not recognize Gulak since the court did not pronounce him the party's chairman.
