Justice Ademola Adeniyi of the Federal High court Abuja has yesterday mandated the federal government to produce Dasuki before him on the 16th of February,2015. This order was given yesterday when Dasuki was no where to be found in court yesterday when his case was called up for trial. His lawyer, Mr. J.B. Daudu(SAN) told the court that his client has been abducted to an unknown destination for about six weeks now, thereby denying him assess to his family members. Meanwhile the prosecuting counsel, Mr. Dikpo Okpeseyi (SAN) did not give any reason for Dasuki's absence from the court yesterday but requested for Justice Adeniyi to revoke the bail granted the accused on 3rd November 2015. Justice Adeniyi who was not happy with the accused's absence in the court yesterday has mandated the Federal Government to produce him in court before any further step will be taken on his case. Also the justice made it clear to the FG that an accused must be present in court at every stage of prosecution. He further said that it is only the court that has the right and power to excuse an accused person from being absence during a trial.
