An arrest has been made of two suspects who tried defrauding Governor Ayodele Fayoseg of Ekiti State.The fraudsters were Benedict Ola Idega and Abdulsalam Leader who claimed to be workin with the office of the National Security Adviser. The duo informed Fayose of their capability to influence the report of the military panel set up to investigate the role of the military in the June 21st of 2014 Ekiti governorship election and moreover, that the army report in question was targeted against some top army officers who the Federal Government wanted to punish. Governor Fayose suspected some foul plays from them and informed state police commissioner and the DSS director who arrested them.
