The Northern Christians Association of Nigeria has called on the Federal Government to double its efforts in alleviating the untold hardships the masses were facing due to the unavailability of fuel in the country, this statement was released in Kaduna on Easter Sunday. The association through its Public Relations Officer, Rev, John Hayab, spoke on the highlight of the season, which centers on the love that Jesus Christ has for humanity which made Him to shed His blood on the cross in order to save mankind from sufferings. Rev Hayab also frowned at the utterance of Mr Ibe Kachikwu, the Group Managing Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, who said that the current fuel scarcity being experienced in the country would continue till May. He further said that Mr Kachikwu's utterance that he was not a magician, was a careless talk that ought not to be heard from a public servant. He further reminded the Federal Government that the masses voted them into power for a positive change and not for sufferings and called on them to do all that is necessary to alleviate the sufferings on the masses.
