NNPC workers suspend strike and start work

NNPC Oil workers have suspended their strike on Thursday morning and have resumed work both at their headquarters in Abuja and its other subsidiaries across the country. The strike was suspended after they had an emergency meeting with the Federal Government officials on Wednesday night. The Oil workers and their counterparts from Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria embarked on an indefinite strike on Tuesday at 12 midnight due to the Federal Government's restructuring of the NNPC.
