Eight persons wounded on the 3rd mainland bridge

A bus with plate number, Lagos FST 839 XM, fully loaded with 18 passengers going to Oshodi from Ajah on Wednesday had an accident when the two back tyres bursted on the 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos State around 3pm. 8 persons sustained various degrees of injuries, while the reaming 10 passengers were  not injured at all. Report has it that the driver who was on top speed was warned severally about his speed by some of the passengers but he kept deaf ear and could not control the wheels when the two back tyres bursted The bus would have plunged into the lagoon if not for the iron bars on the bridge that prevented it. The wounded passengers had been taken to the Gbagada General Hospital by the Lagos State Ambulance Services.
