Buhari fires director of budget

President Muhammadu Buhari has on Monday fired Mr Yahaya Gusau, the Director General(Budget). There was no reasons given for his sack but observers believe that it must be in connection with the errors discovered in 2016 budget proposals before the National Assembly. A top government official who spoke in anonymity to the punch, said Gusau was not at fault for the errors and inflating of the 2016 budget but because the budget landed on his table finally and he did not edit it before sending to the National Assembly. According to the source, more people will be sacked soon because of this. Mr Tijani Abdullahi has been appointed to replace Gusau.
