A 23 year old man in prison for stealing a blackberry phone

A 23 year old man, Azeez Ibrahim of No 13 Buhari Street Ikorodu, Lagos State was sentenced to six months imprisonment on Wednesday for stealing a blackberry bold 6 phone worth of N25,000 from Ekpe Ifeoma . Azeez snatched Miss Ekpe's bag which contains the blackberry bold 6 phone at Abiola Gardens in Alausa Ikeja on February 3rd at about 4:30pm. The victim reported the incidence to the Ojota police Station. The police put a call through to the complaints line and was able to track the accused to mile 12 in Lagos with the said phone. The magistrate in charge of the case, Mrs O. Sule-Amzat sentenced the accused to six months imprisonment in compliance with Section 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of 2011.
