The Revenant which featured Leonardo DiCaprio won the 2016 Baftas best film of the year award. Leonardo DiCaprio won the best actor while Alejandro G Inarritu won the best director award. According to Inarritu, he said the award winning was awesome and also commended DiCaprio for his commitment and talent during the project. The Baftas award was held on Sunday at London's Royal Opera House and was hosted by Stephen Fry.
